We take a cognitive-behavioural approach to family therapy, but also work to address the underlying issues that contribute to conflict and disconnection. Our experienced therapists utilize evidence-based techniques to help families develop effective communication skills, resolve conflicts constructively, and build stronger, more resilient relationships. We offer both online and in-person sessions to accommodate your family's needs and preferences throughout Canada.

Cedar Ridge Online Family Counselling was founded with a passion for helping families thrive. We believe that every family has the potential to build strong, healthy relationships, and we are committed to providing the support and guidance needed to achieve that goal. Our compassionate therapists are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where families can explore their challenges and develop effective solutions. We proudly serve families in British Columbia and Alberta with both online and In-person (in-person therapy option only in Fort Nelson, BC).

What can family therapy look like? The aim is often to help identify problematic behaviours and improve relationships amongst family members.

Deciding to work with a therapist can feel like a lot at times, especially if there is a great deal of conflict that is currently occurring within your family. 

Choosing to attend therapy as a family can be a huge decision, and takes a great deal of vulnerability and openness to allow someone into your family but all sessions are completely confidential.
